Atomz Reports Record Growth By ASPnews.com Staff April 30, 2003
Atomz, a San Francisco-based Net-native ASP that offers content management, search and marketing services, today reported what it describes as "record revenues" for the first quarter of 2003, which ended on March 31.
Revenues for the first quarter were up 58 percent over the same quarter last year and 17 percent over the previous quarter, Atomz reports. According to the company new bookings increased 50 percent over the same quarter a year ago, with the company adding more than 35 new customers. Atomz reports that it now has more than 1,400 corporate customers worldwide and a renewal rate of 92 percent.
"Although the economic downturn has wreaked havoc across the software industry, it has played a somewhat unexpected role in shedding light on the significant benefits associated with software delivered as an online service," said Steve Kusmer, CEO of Atomz. "Because most IT organizations are being asked to do more with less, we've found that many are taking another look at hosted software."
